Gone surfin'

I went surfing in Santa Cruz!

It's been a while since I went there last time....
I was on a surf camp trip to Santa Cruz on my sophomore year from Portland.

Rented a board and a wetsuits (I wish I could just surf in bathing suits) at Cowell's Surf Shop.

Actually it was a great surf spot for beginners!
The waves weren't too big, but good size!

Pizza after surfing is the best thing in the world.! Ham and pineapple= Hawaiian style<3

Look at friends' kids playing with the board.
They handle a surf board better :) So cute!

Tahoe Burrrrr

I spent a weekend in Tahoe!

Burrrrrrrrr......!!! It was a warmer weekend for Tahoe.
Absolutely gorgeous.

But still it was freezing!!

Some recommendations!
- Syd's Bagelry
Located right next to Tahoe Dave's, a highly reviewed ski/snow boarding rental shop. Mango Tango smoothie (I think it was mango, yogurt, banana?) was a great start of the morning before ski! They have variety kinds of bagel sandwiches, too! I wanted to try their Breakfast burrito.

- Wolf Dale's
A great Asian (mostly Japanese influenced) fusion dinner place!
I had a delicious Shitake salad with some cheese and arugula, poke cone, trout gyoza and fillet minion.

- North Star
Very hip ski resort.
All the facilities are super new and nice, and the people working here are very friendly!
The breakfast Burrito here was amazing!! (but too big to start the day)

Sunny Friday San Francisco!

After such a miserable pouring sad rainy Tuesday, Friday turned out to be am amazing sunny day!
Starting with my newly discovered yum yum cereal and green smoothie(spinach, banana, kiwi, and coconut water).

I found that I could order 6packages set on Amazon;

I want to try this Carrot Cake flavor, too!
......And I made a banana peanuts butter sandwich made with my special PB with coconuts oil.

Mixing coconuts oil with organic peanuts butter is so good. You can smell some coconuts in the peanuts butter taste. The best!!
